JOB DESCRIPTION: We are looking for QA Analyst with 4 plus years of experience and position location anywhere in USA and 75 – 100 % Travel.

The Quality Assurance Analyst has knowledge of Application Architecture, the operating environment and how these factors contribute to product quality and is able to use this knowledge to target certain application areas for more intensive testing.

The Quality Assurance Analyst is involved throughout the software development life cycle processes. These processes include executing Manual and Automated Functional and Performance Testing.

Interested candidate should have at least four years of experience generating Test Plans, Test Cases, and Execution for complex applications and large projects.

Analytical skills, to evaluate and disseminate the information gathered from Developers, Business Analysts and Users.

SQL, Programming skills.
Hands-on Mercury TestDirector/Quality Center experience.

Excellent writing skills.
Version Control skills.
Management strongly desires the candidate has these Attributes:
Hands-on Mercury WinRunner/Quick Test Professional / LoadRunner Scripting or Comparable Test Tool Scripting.

UNIX knowledge and/or language skills.

High degree of Technical understanding to be able to follow and participate in technical conversations.

Self Motivated and able to motivate others.

Candidate must have these Attributes:

Proven participation in Quality Assurance as a profession. Minimum 4 years.

Proven participation in Quality Control as a profession. Minimum 4 years.

Software Development Life Cycle and Testing Life Cycle experience

Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently and manage priorities effectively.

Hands-on experience with version control tools.

Management strongly desires the candidate has these Attributes:

Knowledge of CMMI and quality methodologies.

Software development experience and knowledge is preferred, to have credibility with development teams and be able to work effectively with them and to nderstand the development aspect test automation.

Experience working in a consulting model and demonstrating thought leadership. Excellent relationship building and communication skills.

Candidate must have the ability to work in a team environment.

Experience estimating and scoping project work.

Must have excellent presentation and writing skills.

70 – 75% travel. Also, no relocation needed.

JOB ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Responsibilities: The Quality Assurance Analysts primary responsibility is to facilitate the Quality Assurance Test Strategy defined by the Quality Assurance Project Manager. This includes documenting and executing QA and QC processes and procedures. Individual will work closely with the Project Manager to define the process that will be used to Automate Regression and Load Testing; Build and Execute the TestDirector Test Labs.

Other responsibilities include:

Work with the Quality Assurance Project Manager to promote Quality.

Assurance practices through hands-on implementation.

Work with Quality Assurance Project Manager to manage testing activities and test tools.

Participate in peer reviews and inspections of test artifacts.

Develop Decision Tables and Test Cases.

Develop Test Scripts for automation.

Document report execution.

Perform any other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

Measures of Performance Evaluation from management on overall product quality and effectiveness of testing and process management during development and after the product has been deployed.

Feedback from Quality Assurance Project Manager on the way in which the Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities were conducted.

Product Quality measures, Satisfying or exceeding testing schedules, quality goals and product delivery.

Test Artifact quality and effectiveness.

Education and Certifications:

Relevant Bachelors (Technical) Degree or Equivalent experience.

CSTE or CQSA Certification highly desired.
