We are looking
for Mainframe Developers with the following mainframe skills,
Strong DB2, CICS, Cobol and MQ Experience
(a must!)
The DB2 experience must be with version 8 with Feature
Active experience.
MQ - Strong working experience, (not just knowledge),
you must be able to handle the commands and be able
to talk about projects you have worked on.
Teams will work with the distributed windows platform
using .Net and C# and Visual Studio

be Responsible for the following |
| |
|
Gathering requirements, analyzing, designing, coding,
testing, and implementing both batch processes/programs
and stored procedures for new development.
Maintaining and supporting existing systems.
Advising or collaborating with developers on solutions
to issues, data architectures, system facilities/capabilities
and the operation/tuning of databases.
Providing on-call support on a rotating basis

|
Excellent communication skills (listening, persuasiveness,
oral, written).
Strong people skills (team orientation, judgment, interpersonal
relations).
Ability to work with minimal direction from management.
Result and goal oriented.
Highly proactive, takes initiative.
Experience with pricing and yield management systems
a plus.

| Education/Experience:
|

|
BS/BA in appropriate field or equivalent training and
experience.
5-7 years systems development experience.
5+ years - z/OS, JCL, COBOL, DB2, SQL, Syncsort experience.
IBM certifications a plus
